Maximum temperature varied between 33.3 to 35.0 °C as against the normal of 31.4°C. Similarly minimum temperature varied between 21.6°C to 26.5°C as against the normal of 22.9°C. Fluctuations in other weather parameters were also reported during the week. Bright sunshine hour during this period varied between 3.6 to 10.1 hours/day. ReRegular monitoring is required to identify the infestation of insect pest in crop. Destroyed the adult insect using light trap. 2. Discolouration and chaffy grain in rice is visible at some locations which is indication of infestation of panicle mite. To control apply Dicofol (5 ml) + Propikonazol (1ml) dissolved in per litre water and spray solution @ 500 litre/ha. 3. To control the brown leaf hopper (brown mahoo) apply Bupronfenjik @ one litre per ha. or Ethiprole + Imidacloprid 150 m.l. or Dinotefuran 200 gram dissolved in 500 litre water/ha and spray near base portion of the plants. 4. If one adult of stem borer seen in one square meter then use Rynaxypyr (Coragen) @ 150 gram dissolved in 500 litre water /ha. Collect the cluster of eggs and destroy it. 5. To control attack of blast in rice crop apply insecticide Tricyclozole @ 350 gram / ha. dissolved in 500 litter water. 6. To control sheath blight apply 500ml Hexaconazol or Propikonazol dissolved in 500 litre water/ha. or Velidamycin (Sheethmar) 1.5 m.l. per litre dissolved in 500 litre water/ha. & spray it. Oilseed 1. Complete the sowing of toria. After harvesting of kharif crop prepare the field for rabi sowing. 2. Kharif moong and urad are ready for harvesting, therefore harvest the pod in two times on priority basis. 3. If farmers want to grow pigeon pea as a rabi crop than field should be prepared after harvest the soybean crop. Pigeon pea can be sown up to 15 October. Sugarcane: 1. To control pyrilla in sugarcane crop drain out water from the field and collect the adult by using light trap and destroyed it. Stop immediately the application of Nitrogenous fertilizer. 2. To control Pyrilla insect in sugarcane use Orchard sprayer for effective spray of insecticides. Vegetables: and other oilseed crops: 1. Use Pheromone Traps @ 20 Nos/ha. to control attack of fruit borer in brinjal, tomato and bhindi crops, 2. Obtain good quality seeds of fruits and vegetable in advance from reliable source. 3. Start planting of rabi onion. Fruit 1. Farmers are advised to apply Dimethoate @ 1.5 m. l. per litre of water to control of Mili bug in papaya crop. 2. If farmers have Banana and Papaya seedling ready. they may go for planting in main field. 3. Farmers are advised to Paint stem of tree by using Bordo mixer/pest, Maintain cleanness in the orchard, prepare basin around the tree and apply recommended dose of manure and fertilizer. Animal husbandry: 1. Poultry shed beds should be in dried condition and should be overturned once in 2-3 days. 2. Farmers are advised to prepare the field for rabi fodder. 3. To prevent foot and mouth disease (FMD) farmers are advised for proper vaccination of animal. 4. To control worms give tablet Albendazole or Fenbendazole@1.5 gram per adult animal and half dose for calf. Sr. Scientist (Agromet)
