Launching is scheduled on a first come-first served
basis and is subject to weather and tidal considerations.
It is time to start the prep for the spring! There are any number of jobs that can be done by the yard over the
remaining winter months that will speed up your prep work in the spring.
The one job that requires a lot of time is sanding the bottom of the boat. We REALLY want to do this when it
is cold out as the sanding is easier, and WE DON'T have the time in May. Owners requesting bottom sanding after
May 15 can anticipate a delayed launching. See rates below.
Anything that is on the inside that needs repairing; pumps, lights, electronics, cushion repair and even cleaning
can be done early.
Please mark how you want your bottom taken care of, add any other jobs you may need taken care of, i.e. hull
waxing. Please return to us soon or email us with your work orders at mbshipyard@AOL.com
 Bottom Prep and painting; complete sanding with light fairing with the labor to paint.
 Just paint no sanding: $75.00/ hour to tape and paint.
 Owner prep, yard paint
(Application of paint is required to be done by the yard as per contract to comply with NYS
DEC regulations). $75.00/ hr. to tape and paint.)

P.S. – If you are planning on having an outside contractor work on your boat please have them register with the
office and supply a copy of their liability insurance. The yard charges a 20% override on outside contractor labor.
