Brother Knights,
Welcome to a new fraternal year, thank you for your confidence in electing me your new
Grand Knight, I and the new team of officers look forward to your continued support in
the coming year.
Let’s focus this New Year on two goals;
Building our ranks with new younger members.
Our first Degree is Charity – The Tennessee Knights main goal is the support of the
intellectually disadvantaged – Let’s support our MR drive(s) in 2015-2016. We won a
third place award in 2014-2015 period, let’s move up a notch this year.
All have a safe 4th of July.

Degree Information
A first degree is planned every first Thursday, beginning at 6:30 p.m., and is immediately
followed by a regular council meeting. Council 8781’s degree team conducts the
exemplification. The first degree is held in the Music Room.
Business is the required dress for all those attending First and Second Degree’s. This
includes team members, observers, sponsors and participants. No Jeans, sandals, tshirts or shorts. Coat and tie are required for all attending a Third Degree.
Reminder: Candidates should be escorted to all exemplifications by their sponsors
or a third degree member.
Seminarian and Religious Vocation Support
Council 8781 is delighted to support seminarians and others pursuing religious vocations
with cards, prayers, and financial assistance. Please keep the following in your prayers as
they pursue studies in priestly and religious life.
