Strategies for Studying at Home
Set up a homework area.
Free of distractions, well lit, all necessary supplies handy.
Set up a homework routine.
When and where it gets done. The same every day.
Set homework priorities.
Make the point that homework is the priority – before a date, TV, going
out, whatever.
Eliminate distractions.
Turn off the TV! Find a quiet place free of noise – if that is not
possible, listen to music without words.
Remember your goals!
If it is your goal to get good grades – studying is a must!
