President Nailor called the meeting to order. President Nailor delivered the prayer. Member Richard Reulet led the Pledge of Allegiance. The following members were recorded present: Charles Nailor, Richard Reulet, Carol Lambert, Kenneth Foret, Diana Cantillo and Patricia Schexnayder. Member absent was Patricia Schexnayder. 5. On motion by Kenneth Foret, seconded by Richard Reulet, and unanimously carried to dispense with the reading of the minutes from the previous meetings held on November 13, 2012, and November 19, 2012, and to adopt the minutes as printed and distributed. 6. President Nailor read the Executive Committee Report from November 30, 2012 (Refer Appendix A). 7. Member Carol Lambert read the recommendations of the Finance Committee Report from December 6, 2012 (Refer to Appendix B). On motion by Richard Reulet, seconded by Carol Lambert and unanimously carried to approve the recommendations from the Finance Committee. 8. On motion by Diana Cantillo, seconded by Carol Lambert and unanimously approved to give $1,000 to the Cosmetology students to attend the Bronner Bros. International Hair Show in Atlanta, Georgia. 9. On motion by Kenneth Foret, seconded by Richard Reulet and unanimously approved the E-Rate Authority. 10. On motion by George Nassar, seconded by Diana Cantillo and unanimously approved to accept the following Certificates of Payment: Stafford Construction $119,766.00 Paulina Elementary School Media Center and Classroom Additions Perry Segura $171,458.04 Magnet School Additions for Gramercy Elementary School Paramount Metal Systems $72,370.00 New Metal Roof System at Gramercy Elementary and Sixth Ward Elementary School 11. On motion by Kenneth Foret, seconded by Carol Lambert and unanimously approved to Declare the Pupil Appraisal Building as Surplus and Advertise for Bids. 12. On motion by Carol Lambert, and a unanimous second, the following condolences were approved: Gaston Rodrigue; Father of Donald Rodrigue, Retired Teacher Elaine Roussel; Mother in Law of Darcie Roussel, Speech Therapist at Fifth Ward Keith Millet; Uncle of Michelle Duhe, Teacher Samuel Tramonte; Father of Missy Rizzuto, secretary 13.
