Parent-Teacher Communication
I strongly believe working together will contribute to your child’s success. In addition to regular progress reports, report cards, and parent
conferences, there are several ways that we can remain in contact:
 Feel free to reach me at school, or via email using the contact information above (in most cases I should respond within 48 hours).
 You may request a login/password from the front office to access your son/daughter’s grades online.
 In addition, you should check your son/daughter’s planners regularly. They should include a written homework assignment every day.
 Within a few weeks you may access our school web site (http://hcsb.schoolwires.net/Domain/9) for important links for lessons, homework
etc. and school happenings.
Consequences:
My behavior expectations are very high. If I feel that your behavior is inappropriate for class or you are not following classroom rules and procedures
the following consequence will be utilized:
1. Verbal Warning.
2. The student will be asked to fill out an Action Plan which will allow both of us to look at the situation.
3. Teacher- Student conference.
4. If behavior persists, the student will be sent to the office on a referral or I may request a parent conference.
5. Severe disregard for school or classroom guidelines (fighting) will result in an automatic referral to the office.
Facilities and Equipment
1. The teacher’s work area is off-limits. No students allowed.
2. You must have permission to use computers and other equipment.
