Dear Parent/Guardian,
Here at St. Ann’s we have established a First Savers Group in partnership with
Trafford United Credit Union. We believe that it is important for children to
have a good understanding of money, and the importance of saving it wisely.
We therefore hold a collection point at the school every Tuesday morning
between 8.30 and 9.05am.
The re-launch of the St. Ann’s Savers Group will take place on Tuesday 30th
September. Membership is free to all pupils and there is no minimum deposit.
If you would like to join and start saving then simply call into the ICT suite in
the infant building any Tuesday morning along with their first deposit.
On joining, all First Savers will receive a Savings Card, which is the First
Saver’s records of all payments. Each First Saver will be given their own
unique credit union membership number. Parents and other family members
can also enrol as adult members.
We are also looking for any volunteers who are available to work with Mrs
Bradbury on a Tuesday morning when collecting the savings from the families.
If you are interested please see Mrs Bradbury in the office or Miss Lloyd in
Class 11 with your details. Depending on the amount of volunteers we have,
the rota will be worked out accordingly.
