Further, young ladies and gentlemen must have no record of serious disciplinary or attendance problems during the previous and current school years. Receipt of the nomination is just a receipt of collection; it is not a confirmation of being able to run for court. I further understand that the sample ballot will be displayed in front of Mrs. Johnson’s door (2713) on October 8, 2015. If there are any mistakes, I must tell Mrs. Johnson (2713) by 2:45 on October 9, 2015. The election will be October 13th and October 14th through English classes. Notification of elected court members will be by October 16th. There is a mandatory homecoming court meeting for court members on October 20th at 2:15 p.m. in Mrs. Johnson’s room (2713). The following are necessary for consideration for Homecoming Court: Clear of all obligations Completed Homecoming Court application o Short answer (50 words or less): Autobiographical sketch that discusses your contributions to Gar-Field High School. o Short answer (50 words or less): Your reasons for wanting to be on the Homecoming Court. Completed teacher recommendations Academic and behavior good standing If you do not have all of the above, your name will not be on the ballot to run for Homecoming Court. Running for Homecoming Court is contingent upon administrator approval of disciplinary and attendance records, as well as all of the above information. Your name will not be on the ballot to run for Homecoming Court if the necessary information and approval is not provided. Campaigning is allowed; however, any use of food for campaign purposes is strictly forbidden and will result in your removal from the ballot.
