The student council planned a fun-filled week for Homecoming. For spirit week, the high school students dressed wacky-tacky on Monday, came in casual and comfortable in their pajamas on Tuesday, faked an injury on Wednesday, picked their favorite decade for Thursday, and wore their best red and white for extreme red and white day. Each class received points for the percentage of students dressing up in their grade. Juniors won Wacky/Tacky day, sophomores dominated every other dress-up day! On Thursday, the students competed in an outside games night. There was an egg toss, car push, tugof-war, co-ed mile relay, and co-ed 800 meter relay, and the infamous powder puff football game which was won by the seniors and freshmen this year. On Friday the students competed in games during our pep assembly. The sophomores won blanket toss and mad dog, juniors won the cookie face and applying make-up on Ms. Henley, and seniors won ships and sailors. Each class also had to decorate a float for the parade. The floats counted worth 3 times the points. This year’s theme was game shows. The freshmen chose Jeopardy. The sophomores chose Wheel of Fortune. The juniors chose Family Feud. The seniors chose Let’s Make a Deal. Sophomores won the float competition. Spirit point standings for the four classes are the freshmen in fourth place with 58 points, the juniors in third place with 73 points, the seniors are runners up with 95 points, and winners of this year’s 2015 Homecoming activities are the sophomores with 100 points. The sophomores won $126.41 for their class. . The classes voted for the representatives for Homecoming. The freshman representatives are Brooke Hinkley and Isaiah Fellers. The sophomore representatives are Michelle Rodrigues and Chan Kim. The junior representatives are Gretta Minor and Dane Wilson. The senior representatives are Megan Martin, Kaleb Bohm, Anessa Broker, Brandon Hinkley, Kayla Haskin, Brett Prell, Bailey McCoy and Gabe Keely. Chris Frame and Jhenna Puckett crowned this year’s Homecoming prince and princess. This year’s Homecoming prince is Chan Kim and princess is Michelle Rodrigues. Ronny Moyer and Bailey Clipfell crowned this year’s Homecoming king and queen. This year’s Homecoming king is Kaleb Bohm and queen is Bailey McCoy.
