• UB's database as a service (DBaaS) offering.
• It’s an extension of the existing enterprise
level database hosting currently offered.

• Assume we have 12c installed and running. EIS plans to
upgrade to EM 12c within one year.
• Use existing DB infrastructure and expand as needed.
• Build new RAC with one or two nodes ($13,000 per node
– x86 HP hardware).
• EM Cloud Management Pack – SUNY license or direct
from Oracle
• Staff resources needed: initial implementation assuming
