• What are some different organizers we can use to
organize our thoughts for our story?
• Let’s learn about a new graphic organizer.
• Fold a piece of scratch paper into sixths and draw out the
main events of your story in each square. Make sure you
have an introduction, climax, and resolution.
• When you are done add action verbs to your squares.
These action verbs should help tell the story.
• Retell your story to two buddies.

• Review rubric.
• Get out your pre-write from yesterday and
retell your story to one other person to review
your thoughts and ideas.
• Begin writing your story.

• Read story out loud, make changes, fill out self

• Find two different people and read your story
aloud.
• Together fill out the buddy editing check list.
• Begin your final draft.

• Get out your rough draft and from yesterday
and re read your story one more time.
• Begin writing your final draft.
