Hughes STEM High School offers a new approach to education featuring a creative
focus in the STEM areas (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), with a strong
liberal-arts foundation. Project-based learning and critical thinking is at the heart of a

Students receive opportunities to earn college credit while in high school. Through

ImagineNations has helped to launch a new initiative founded by Her Highness Sheikha Mozah
of Qatar to address the critical need for jobs and opportunities for young people in the (MENA)
region. ImagineNations has been closely involved with Her Highness and other leaders from
across the region regarding potential approaches and has helped to shape the strategic direction
and mission of the initiative called Silatech (meaning “your connection” in Arabic).
Six diverse countries within the MENA region have been selected for pilots in the region,
including: Morocco, Bahrain, Qatar, Syria, Tunisia and Yemen. In-depth studies have been
conducted in each of these countries in partnership with the International Labour Organization
(ILO) and local partners. Silatech intends to roll out its work to the 22 countries across the
region over the next five years.

lubrication system to provide reliable
operation, reduced bearing failure and
decreased friction temperature.
The oil mist generator continuously and
efficiently atomizes oil into small particles.
The pickup tube directs oil from the reservoir
to the atomization system.
The Venturi tube lowers the static pressure
and lifts the oil from the reservoir.
As particles go through the Venturi tube, the
Venturi effect cools down the particles.
Oil is atomized into a fine mist resembling
smoke while exiting the lift tube.
The average size of mist particles is 3
