Tools: Gescan Electrical Supplies and Ideal Electric have put together a
basic tool package that provides a majority of the tools required at a
significant saving to the student. This package may be purchased at
the tool demonstration provided in class at a cost of approximately $250.00
In addition to the tool package, the following will be required:
1/8” cabinet tip screwdriver
12” hacksaw
9” magnetic torpedo level
Straight clawed hammer (18 oz is suggested)
Center punch
Electrician’s knife

These tools may be purchased after the in-class tool demonstration to be held
within the first two weeks of class starting for a discounted price.
If you choose to purchase your tools prior to attending the program, be sure to
purchase only professional grade tools. Remember you will be making a living
using these tools, and a lesser quality tool will need frequent replacement.
