Job Description Job Title: Account Executive Reports To: Branch Manager Position Summary: Primarily responsible for providing customer service to existing and new customers by using knowledge of insurance products. Partner with sales team to meet and exceed customers’ service expectations and to work with insurance company underwriters. Position Responsibilities: Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding policies Preparation of information to provide to customer and insurance companies regarding placement of new business and renewing current business Obtains and presents proposals and quotes and recommends coverages based on customer needs via phone and written correspondence Prepares and calculates premiums, invoicing, commission and other related accounting functions Creates and maintains paper and computer files and suspense for follow-up action Assists customer and arranges payment terms in accordance with established guidelines Provides support and assistance to Branch Manager and/or other branch personnel as needed Essential Skills and Experience: General aviation knowledge including Private Pilot’s license Time Management – ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to read, analyze and interpret insurance policies, coverage documents and regulations Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and underwriters Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as commissions, pro-rata, percentages and discounts basic accounting functions State insurance license Strong customer orientation Basic computer proficiency Non-Essential Skills and Experience: Customer service experience in insurance industry Work experience in aviation industry Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
