Part 1: Choose two words from this week’s assigned reading that you did not know the meanings of. Look up the words in a dictionary and IN YOUR OWN WORDS explain the definition for each. After your definition, use each word in a new sentence of your own. Now that you have read the assignment sheet for our first essay, use this space to list some possible subjects for your narrative and some possible questions. Think about specific questions that relate to your subject, rather than to the writing process in general. The goal here is to help give yourself subject matter to write about.
