Math: We are learning about place value and counting to higher numbers.
Reading/Writing: Students should bring home their guided reading baggie and sight word baggie each night for practice and they need to
bring them back to school each day.
We will continue to work on nouns and character traits, and will begin learning about describing words. We will be writing stories with lots of description.
IB/Social Studies/Science: We will finish researching Israel and
Hanukkah.
Parent Information:

As your child is doing his/her math homework this week, please check to make sure that all of the numbers are written correctly. No backwards numbers!

Writing is a bigger focus with emphasis on correct sentences and using describing words.

I’ve sent home a note to sign up to send some food for the Holiday party on Friday. I’ll send home a reminder. I

Each boy is supposed to bring a wrapped $5 boy gift and each girl is supposed to bring a wrapped $5 girl gift. If that will cause a hardship for you, please just send me a note ASAP and we’ll work it out.
