Parent Information:
What are we learning in class this
week?
Math: We are composing and
decomposing numbers.
Reading/Writing: Sight words will
continue. Please practice them
each night. If your child forgets to
bring it home, all the lists are on my
website. We are also learning
strategies to improve reading skills.
IB/Social Studies: We will continue to
learn about symbols and how they
are important in our lives.
Specifically, we will learn about
American symbols.
1. Back to school social and our first PTA
meeting will be Thursday, September
10th at 6:00.
2. This Friday, September 11 is
Grandparents Day. Information was
sent home last Friday. If you have any
questions, please call the office at 940369-2500.
3. If you've already registered for Class
Dojo, thank you! If you have not
registered and need any help, please
let me know. I've had several parents
comment on how they really like being
able to see how their child is doing
and to easily communicate with me!

6. We will begin going to the library this
week. Friday will be our library day.
7. We go to French class on Mondays
and Thursdays.
