Programming for Buildings 50, 3 and 4: This project entails the programming, of three buildings for backfilling and restacking once the Biology Department moves to the new Biological Sciences Building in 2012 as well as various renovations in Bldgs. 3, 4, and 50.. Tentative Schedule: Consultant Selection Complete Programming March 2011 Changes from last month: Demolition Work at Bldg. 4 First Floor completed. Painting and Flooring complete. Faculty has moved in. Estimate to prepare Bldg. 3 for Math was sent to Barbara Hetrick. No Change. Electrical Work to relocate the CCEC Machine Shop in Bldg. 50 complete. 2. Interfaith Sanctuary: Design and Construction of sanctuary building of approximately 6,500 square feet to serve as a venue for group events. Religious Centers: Engage Civil Engineer to provide a feasibility study and an order of magnitude cost for providing utility services to a grouping of four buildings. Tentative Schedule: ON HOLD. 4. New Food Service Facility and General Purpose Building: Design and Construction of a replacement food service facility to replace Osprey Café. Development of Greek Village: This project entails the programming and completing a feasibility study to develop 250-bed a Greek Village at Tech. Draft financial analysis was reviewed on November 27th. Final report is scheduled to be unveiled February 5th, 2013.. 2 6. New Housing Clubhouse Building: Design and Construction of a new Clubhouse to service the housing units in the core campus. Program calls for a 15,000 GSF building to contain a Convenience Store/Grill, a Multi-purpose Room, a Laundry facility for 450 students, an R/A Graphics Room, a Game Room and a Mail Distribution area for 2,900 students.
