Committee Reports/Division Issues: Rocky: SWACC Property & Liability inspection is done. Full inspection is done every other year. Next year a mini inspection will be done. Letter was sent by OSHA to ECC regarding complaint on the Humanities water break. Documentation has been sent to OSHA for their review. Have not received the final written report from forensics regarding the Humanities building. Satish: Applied 25 patches to Datatel, one of the patch caused problems. Fiscal Services and Financial Aid office were the two offices that were affected by this problem. Datatel has sent a fix for the problem and it will be tested this afternoon. One of the controllers went bad and the vendor is fixing it, this has caused the system to be slow. Submission of the Summer MIS report has been delayed for both campuses. Will be working to replace the scrolling message on portal to static. Mike: The Sheriff’s Department did a sweep of Alondra Park yesterday. There was a small community developing under the flood channel that was cleaned out. Getting the word out regarding Campus Watch Program. County launched an emergency messaging system and ECC has the link. Janice: Auditors will be back the week of November 22nd. Doing Program Review on Financial Reporting. Hiring two new staff members. Interview today for the Accounting Technician II. Fifty months of cash reconciliation is done and 7 more needs to be done. Andy: Has the revised language for the locker. Jo Ann has said to have it displayed on lockers. Advertising 59₵ snack isle. Julie: Busy with getting book orders for Winter and Spring. Getting ready for book buyback and orders for Spring session. Bob: CCFC had some good workshops. Bond equipment review with the Deans. Working on Program Review of two areas: Material Receipt & Delivery Waste Disposal & Recycling PE complex planning is underway according to the Master Plan. Tom B: Good workshop at the CCFC. Was in a workshop with DSA and some suggestions were made to streamline the approval process. Fred Sturner: Allied Health RFQ for architect firm has gone out and there have been nine responses. Deadline is December 7. Waiting for release from DSA on the LRC plan. Meeting adjourned at 9:30 a.m.
