Title: Balloon Invaders
Purpose: To practice multiplication and division problems
Grade Level/TEKS Reference: 3rd & 4th
TEKS 3 (4) Number, operation, and quantitative reasoning. The student recognizes and
solves problems in multiplication and division situations. The student is expected to:
(A) learn and apply multiplication facts through 12 by 12 using concrete
models and objects;
(B) use models to solve problems and use number sentences to record the
solutions.
TEKS 4 (4) Number, operation, and quantitative reasoning. The student multiplies and
divides to solve meaningful problems involving whole numbers. The student is expected to:
(C) Recall and apply multiplication facts through 12 by 12;
Length of time necessary for Game: 30 seconds or faster for each fact
