Title: Multiplication Grand Prix
Purpose: Reinforcing multiplication facts through 12 x 12.
Grade level/TEKS Reference: 3rd through 5th
3. (4) Number, operation, and quantitative reasoning. The student recognizes and solves
problems in multiplication and division situations. The student is expected to:
(A) learn and apply multiplication facts through 12 by 12 using concrete models
and objects;
4. (4) Number, operation, and quantitative reasoning. The student multiplies and divides
to solve meaningful problems involving whole numbers. The student is expected to:
(C) recall and apply multiplication facts through 12 x 12;
Length of time necessary for Game: 10 minutes or longer depending on desire to continue
playing.
Number of Participants: 1 to 4 players

Directions:
Step 1.) To begin the game, type your name or random name in the box. You will then
need to either create a new game for your friends to join, or you can join a game that was
created by a friend.
Step 2.) Once the game starts, click the correct answer to power your car. How quickly
you answer determines how fast the car will go.
Step 3.) Answer the multiplication problems until you reach the finish line. Repeat the
process.
