This unit standard is for people new to the leather industry or
those wishing to develop their technical skills in leather
manufacture.
People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate
knowledge of: wet post tannage stages used in vegetable
leather manufacture; chemistry of wet post tannage stages
used for vegetable leather manufacture; vegetable leather wet
post tannage methods; and dyed vegetable leather product
properties.
