This unit standard is for people new to the leather industry or
those wishing to develop their technical skills in leather
manufacture.
People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate
knowledge of chemical analyses used on leather and tannery
process liquors; and describe the effects of incorrect chemical
analyses operations.
