People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate knowledge of physical testing used on leather; and describe the effects on tannery processes and product of failure to meet physical testing requirements. Evidence requirements 1.1 Physical testing procedures, including sampling methodology where applicable, are described. 1.2 Equipment required to conduct testing is described in relation to the testing procedures described in performance criterion 1.1.
