People credited with this unit standard are able to: describe local authority requirements for sign installation; determine client requirements; and survey the site. Structures include industrial, commercial and residential. 2 All work practices shall meet the requirements of relevant legislation, including Building Act 2004, Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992, Resource Management Act 1991, and the requirements of industry codes of practice and documented enterprise procedures in respect to health, safety, and environmental matters.
