This unit standard is for experienced people employed in a
meat processing plant who are required to have knowledge of
the risk management programme.
People credited with this unit standard are able to explain: the
purpose of risk management programmes in the meat industry;
the minimum requirements of a risk management programme
in a meat processing plant; and the risk factors of a risk
management programme in a meat processing plant.

Definitions

Evidence requirements

The explanation establishes the key components of a risk management
programme.

2.2

and employees under a risk management programme in a meat processing
