Evidence requirements 1.1 Type of product and service required for the department is identified from the company's management. 1.2 A budget for the planned department is obtained from management. Evidence requirements 2.1 A timetable for producing a layout plan is verified with management. 2.2 The space available for the department is verified with management. 2.3 The equipment and fittings required to carry out the department's business are determined and verified with management. 2.4 The layout meets management criteria. Range company image, work flow, energy efficiency, interface with other departments. Outcome 3 Plan the work flow for an automotive department. Evidence requirements 3.1 A flow chart is produced which meets the needs of all facilities for the department and is accepted by management.
