E-Minutes
1. Current Projects
a. Vangstad
i. Air handler was delivered and is being installed this week.
ii. Completion date was discussed today and the architect will send out a new
schedule soon.
b. Student Center Upper Lounge
i. No updates.
c. Flood Wall
i. Re-routed the 12” water main by the walk bridge.
ii. Moved the Century Link line that was in the way.
iii. Poured the foundation for the pump station on the east end of College Street
and will be building walls by the end of this week.
iv. Parking
1. No updates.
d. Climate Control Upgrade
i. No updates.
e. McCoy/Snoey Basketball Court
i. No updates.
f. Back Alley
i. No updates.
g. Hill slide Waterfall
i. No updates
h. McFarland 1st floor Water-proofing
i. Ron received a bid from Sandman Consulting and the 1st phase came in at
$46,000 that only includes water-proofing and drain tiles.
i. President’s House Retaining Wall
i. Received a bid to do the whole wall at a price of $499,000. Ron is working to
find alternate options.
j. Field House Addition
i. Met with electrical, mechanical, and architect last week. They are currently
working on drawings. We are looking at putting in natural gas heating to keep
costs down.
k. Graichen Gym Floor
i. Picked out colors and they will be here next week to start project.
l. Wellness Center
i. Force Main Project
1. Strata has removed asphalt all the way to the shop. They will be
replacing this with a new road when the project is completed.
2. Snow removal will be an issue that we will need to work through.
3. The force main will be put in this week during the middle of the week. It
should only take 4-6 hours to complete.

i. The RFQ for Construction Manager has been sent out and bid opening will be
July 7th. Would like to interview on July 14th.
1. Still looking for a contractor to be on the selection committee.
ii. Buyouts are still underway, but going well.
n. Circle Hall
i. Pat is looking for the color sample to take to the CB committee.
o. Comm. Arts- 4th floor McFarland
i. Moving is scheduled to start Monday morning- watch your email/talk to Pat for
updates.
p. SEGS Office Remodel
i. Project is starting Monday.
q. Field House Sewer Valve
i. The sewer line is 15’ down and is right next to the building. Wick had to be
called to cut out part of the foundation to make room to put in the valve.
Future Projects
a. Fine Arts Building
i. No updates.
Events
a. Working with a softball group coming from Alaska that will be having a camp and
staying in the dorms.
b. Working on a wedding that will be up at the Medicine Wheel at the end of the summer.
