Facilities Services Weekly Update Meeting

1. Current Projects
a. Vangstad
i. The air handler will be delivered today.
ii. Still waiting for change order numbers.
iii. Sheetrock is 90% complete in the basement.
iv. The rain leader on the roof is still hooked up so it is causing us to get water in the
mechanical room. Ron is working with the contractor to find a solution to this
issue.
b. Student Center Upper Lounge
i. The budget is up to $84,000. Pat has requested the specs and drawings from
Bobbi to send out for bids. We will be the project manager on this project.
c. Flood Wall
i. Parking
1. No update
d. Climate Control Upgrade
i. No update.
e. McCoy/Snoey Basketball Court
i. No update.
f. Back Alley
i. Ron is getting prices on putting asphalt on the rest of the parking lot. Border
States will be in town so we won’t have to pay an extra cost. We can’t build the
canopy until the asphalt is poured.
g. Hill slide Waterfall
i. No update.
h. McFarland 1st floor Water-proofing
i. Will go out to bid this week.
i. President’s House Retaining Wall
i. Will go out to bid this week.
j. Field House Addition
i. Meeting with Kerry on Thursday to finalize plans (in the next 2 weeks) and then
it will go out to bid.
k. Graichen Gym
i. Received the color samples for the stain, met with Jack, and made a decision.
FLR will be here 6/15 to start the project.
l. Wellness Center
i. Force Main Project
1. The switch over will occur next week depending on the weather.
2. There was a ground-breaking on Wednesday.
m. Heat Plant
i. Working on RFQ for construction manager.
n. Circle Hall
i. Need to get a color sample for the Beatification Committee.

o. Comm. Arts- 4th floor McFarland
i. Pat is met with Jenni Lou today and set up removal for next week. Would like to
try and get it done in one haul.
p. SEGS Office Remodel
i. Have electrical and general bids. Wick will be the general on the project and will
be able to start the week of 6/15.
q. Housing
i. Working on the work order list.
ii. Repair showers in Kolstoe.
r. Field House Sewer Valve
i. Ron picked up parts in Fargo on Monday. Kjelland Excavating will begin work on
Monday, 6//8.
