COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the completion of the course the student will be able to:
1. Develop intermediate skills in the handling of sculpture, sculpture in other mediums (including wax, clay,
wood, stone, and/or bronze), and sectional mold making.
2. Synthesize an individual aesthetic from course information, research, and personal/ethnic history.
3. Critically analyze and assess sculpture of peers, contemporary, and historical sources.
4. Demonstrate safe use of materials, studio, and tools.
5. Communicate originality and independence in sculpture.
