WORLD DAY OF PRAYERS FOR VOCATIONS
A Prayer for Vocations
Lord Jesus, as You once called the first disciples to
make them fishers of men, let your sweet invitation
continue to resound. Come, follow Me! Give young
men and women the grace of responding quickly to
Your voice. Support our bishops, priests and
consecrated people in their apostolic labour. Grant
perseverance to our seminarians and to all those
who are carrying out the ideal of a life totally
consecrated to Your service. Mary, Mother of the
Church, the model of every vocation, help us to say
"Yes" to the Lord Who calls us to cooperate in the
divine plan of salvation.
Amen
LIGHTHOUSE CATHOLIC MEDIA CD’S
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
We often have very good intentions to deepen our
relationship with Jesus during Lent, but life can be
so busy. This Lent, Lighthouse has a number of
excellent titles on Confession, the Passion and
Easter. CDs are $5 each or 5 for $20. There is
also an excellent book from Matthew Kelly, called
Rediscovering Catholicism. It can make a
wonderful gift for both someone who has been
away from the Church and those who want to
deepen their faith. And the book only costs $5.
The Knights of Columbus 14749 have some
bronze 12” statues of Pope John Paul II for sale
for $100.00 each. Please contact Vivian Pereira
at (905) 450-6757.
VOCATIONS
The Good Shepherd calls his own sheep by name
and leads them. Is He asking you to help others to
find Him? Pray for an increase in vocations to the
priesthood, diaconate, and religious life, especially
for our archdiocese, that God will raise up good
shepherds in our midst. If God is calling you,
contact Fr. Hansoo Park (416) 968-0997.

WORKING WONDERS FOR
PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
12 years ago, Michael walked into the Good Shepherd
Centre, a ShareLife recipient- homeless, penniless,
friendless. He was only 25 but had already wrecked a
promising life with hard drinking and drug use.
Availing of the Centre’s Drug and Alcohol Recovery
Enrichment program, Michael finally managed to turn
his life around and start afresh- those who knew him
then and now are just astounded at the change.
ShareLife funded agencies assisted over 20,000
people with special needs last year, affirming their
value to our society.
3rd ShareLife collection- June 5, 2011
Please give generously. You can work WONDERS!

Share Your Story with the Shepherds’ Trust
The Shepherds’ Trust is about caring for those
who always cared for us- your priests. They were
with us to celebrate our marriage and bless the
exchanging of our vows. They baptized our
children and welcomed them into the faith. They
were by our sides to console and provide strength,
during periods of uncertainty and great sadness.
This is why thousands of parishioners give to the
Shepherds’ Trust. They have a personal story.
And a donation is one way to give thanks for
making a life-long commitment to others. How has
a priest played a role in your life? The Shepherds’
Trust wants you to share your story. Submit your
story by emailing mrogucki@archtoronto.org or by
visiting the website at www.shepherdstrust.org or
mail them to:

PARKING LOT NOTICE
Please be considerate when attending Sunday
Masses or special liturgical functions and
kindly follow the directions of any outlined
arrows.
If you arrive 10 minutes or less before Mass,
even if you are involved in a liturgical ministry
at mass (e.g. Lector, Eucharistic Minister,
Choir member) do not try to force your way
into the parking lot because the lot will be full
by then. Ill treatment or letters of complaint to
the Pastor will not change that fact. If you
arrive close to the beginning of Mass (or
afterwards!) kindly go directly to St. Anne’s
School for parking but do not park in the Kiss
and Ride lanes. Cars parking in those lanes
may be ticketed by City of Brampton Parking
Control Officers even when school is not in
session.
