Evening Courses
Norwegian Level 1+
Prerequisite for entry
Basic knowledge of Norwegian, successful completion of Norwegian syllabus 1 at UCL
Language Centre or equivalent.
Term duration
10 x 2-hour classes.
Aims and Objectives
The aim of the course is to enable students to function at a basic everyday survival level
(basic vocabulary and grammar). Language learning skills, including autonomous learning
and how to approach authentic material will be covered.

Ordering various foods
Talking about work and leisure
Talking about present and daily activities, incl. studies
Asking and answering questions
Talking about feelings
Some accuracy in expressing various past tenses.
