This course will serve as a requirement for both programs and will also expand content to address key competencies required for accreditation. We changed the title and schedule type to more accurately to embrace the fact that there is only one series (no I and II) so we removed the I. Further, the schedule type of Lecture lab more effectively reflects the cognitive instructional piece and the practical laboratory elements of this course. Additionally, we are changing the prerequisite to include EXSI majors so they are no longer blocked for enrollment Explain how this proposal affects program requirements and students in your unit: It will change the requirements for ATTR and EXSI by one credit hour. This will not have an impact on either curriculum as the faculty in both programs are aware and adjusted their requirements. It will not increase the total credit hours it will decrease electives. Explain how this proposal affects courses, program requirements and student in other units: It will not affect others as it is not required by others. Explain how this proposal affects enrollment and staffing: Bob Lemieux has taught the course and will continue to teach the course. A GA has been assigned this year to teach a second section due to enrollment changes in the ATTR and EXSI major. There will be no substantive changes in staffing.
