Proposal Summary
Explain the purpose for this proposal:
This proposal is to change the Intro to the Profession course to the Intro to Clinical I as we are adding content from the
Principles course into these pre-professional major courses to make the Principles course more general for majors and nonmajors. To refelct the revised content, the credit hours are increasing from 1 to 2 and the schedule type will now be a combined lecture and lab. This new course (with ATTR 15011) will integrate new competencies in ATTR.
Explain how this proposal affects program requirements and students in your unit:
Majors only course - it will add one hour but with the other changes in the program, it does not yield an increase in credit hours for the program.
Explain how this proposal affects courses, program requirements and student in other units:
It is a majors only course and will not impact other units.
Explain how this proposal affects enrollment and staffing:
It is already being taught by the ATTR faculty and will continue to be taught by us.
Units consulted (other departments, programs or campuses affected by the proposal):
None
