Once all the necessary utilities have been relocated, the project will begin construction. Construction is expected to begin in mid-2012. F Project Description This transportation project will widen Freedom Drive from two to four lanes from I-85 (Edgewood Road/Bradford Drive) to Toddville Road. Improvements include divider median, sidewalks, planting strips, street lighting, bicycle lanes and a new culvert (map at right). This shows the Freedom Drive Widening Project limits.
