ODOT seeking input on proposed widening project on US-169 in Tulsa FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE August 25, 2009 PR# 09-057 The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is seeking citizen input on plans for a proposed widening project on US-169 between I-244 and 56th St. North in Tulsa. Plans call for widening US-169 from four lanes to six lanes in this area, and for bridge rehabilitation work at Pine Street. Work will be done within the existing rightof-way, and no additional land will need to be acquired. This call for input is part of a federal requirement to gather as much information as possible about the proposed project area. While there is not a start date yet for this proposal, there are tentative plans for a portion of the work on US-169 from I-244 to 36th St. North to receive bids in Fall 2009.
