The project is in the real
estate acquisition phase
and representatives are
currently working with the
property owners to acquire
easements necessary for
construction.
Project Features
The Rea Road Widening
Project will widen Rea
Road from Highway 51 to
Colony Road to a two-lane
median divided roadway
with sidewalks, bicycle lanes
and planting strips. This
project will improve safety
by eliminating the sight
distance problems along Rea
Road. Upon completion,
this project will provide
safer travel for all modes
of transportation including
motorists, pedestrians and
bicyclists.
