Material Fact Disclosure
WEG S.A. (BOVESPA: WEGE3), in accordance to the terms of CVM instruction 358/02, as
modified, and with its own Material Fact Disclosure and Securities’ Trading Policy, announces to
shareholders and general public the conclusion of the budgeting process for the year of 2009.
The company estimates that (i) Gross Operating Revenues to grow from 15% to 18% over to the
previous year, in Brazilian Reais and; (ii) capacity expansion and modernization expenditures
should reach approximately R$ 375 million.
A detailed analysis of the business opportunities in each market is carried out for the budgeting
process. In addition, the estimates are guided by macroeconomic assumptions such as Brazilian
GDP growth of around 3% and an exchange rate of around R$ 2.20/US$ for 2009.
