CHANGE OF INDEPENDENT AUDITOR
INSTRUCTION CVM Nº 308/99
WEG S.A. (“WEG” or “Company”), in compliance with the Article 31 of Instruction
CVM nº 308/99, which mandates the rotation of auditors every five years, hereby
informs its shareholders and the general market that the Board of Directors approved
KPMG Auditores Independentes (“KPMG”) as the provider of independent audit
services for the financial statements for the year ending in December 31st, 2013.
KPMG will start its activities from the review of quarterly report (ITR) of the first quarter
of 2013 onwards.
We note that we have obtained the proper consent from Ernst & Young Terco
Auditores Independentes, the Company’s current external independent auditor, for
the afore mentioned change.
