For Immediate Release – Lawton, OK, Sept. 30, 2004 Open auditions for Oxygen set at Cameron Open auditions for the local theatrical presentation of the critically acclaimed “Oxygen” are scheduled for October 4-5 at Cameron University. “Oxygen” is the second production in the CU Department of Music and Theatre Arts' 2004-2005 season, “There’s No Business Like Show Business” and will be presented Nov. 18-21. “Oxygen” is a play that is only a few years old about the discovery of the oxygen molecule, which paved the way for modern chemistry. It deals with priorities and competition in science and the resulting consequences in the discovery of oxygen as well as revolutions – both chemical and political. Auditions begin at 7 p.m. nightly in the university’s Studio Theatre at 27th and A Avenue in Lawton. The auditions are open to the entire Lawton-Fort Sill area.
