town and the club was a s.uccess from its first appearance. At its con·
ceit in May it gave, beside miscellaneous selections. the beautiful can·
tata. "The Lady of Shalott," with Miss Bessie Lou Daggett of Oshkosh

as soprano soloist. The concert was a brilliant success musically and

financially and a tine imptltus was given to the work another season.
lu the fall it was decided to limit the membership to lady students
in the normal and twenty-four such students have formed the club
this season. In October, 1001, a constitution was adopted and officers
elected as follows: President, Grace Hazen; vice president, Edith
Glee Club
