Associated Press 02/24/06 Black Student Government conference this week in Ames AMES, Iowa The 29th annual Big 12 Conference on Black Student Government is being held at Iowa State University. The event is expected to bring together about 12-hundred students from up to 70 colleges across the country. The three-day event _ running through tomorrow _ focuses on leadership, academics and networking skills. The schedule of speakers includes the founder of a Des Moines-based human development center and Jeffrey "Cousin Jeff" Johnson, a social activist who appears on the Black Entertainment Television show "Rap City".
