College of Ag moves ahead with name change
AMES, Iowa -- Iowa State University's College of Agriculture is moving forward
with a proposal to change the name of the college to "College of Agriculture and
Life Sciences.''
For the past several years, the college has been discussing a possible change
with departmental leaders, advisory groups, students and prospective students.
Last week, Dean of Agriculture Wendy Wintersteen sent a message to college
faculty and staff that the time was right to make the change.
