Making the Most of Your Student Evaluations Facilitated by graduate students: Randy Bustamante, Theology and English Ana Conboy, Department of Romance Languages and Literatures Tomasz Szatanek, Biology Course evaluations can be confusing and worrying. What do they mean? How can we best use the feedback they provide? This discussion will be a chance to compare with other TA/TFs and to ask questions in a completely confidential setting. The facilitators suggest that you print out your evaluations—if you have some‐‐and bring up specific concerns. They will show you ways to break the feedback into categories, such as pedagogy and personality, course material and load, assessment and grading. There will be plenty of time for questions and general discussion.
