EL PASO COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT BOARD POLICY 3.22.01 PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS The purpose of performance evaluation shall be to improve employee performance of duties, to ensure duties performed are consistent with institutional goals and objectives, and to enhance professional development. Procedures for annually assessing the performance of the President of the College shall be developed by the Board of Trustees. Procedures for assessing the performance of administration, faculty, professional support staff, and classified staff shall be developed by the President of the College. A copy of the performance evaluation shall be provided to the employee, and the employee shall have the right to respond to his/her evaluation. Performance evaluations for the President of the College will be maintained in the office of the President of the College. Performance evaluations of faculty will be maintained by the Office of Records Management. Performance evaluations of non-faculty staff will be retained in the personnel file of the employee, which is maintained by the Department of Human Resources.
