SOUP AND STATIONS, LENT 2008: This year, we’ll be joining Newton parishes in sharing soup and bread and in praying the Stations of the Cross on Fridays during Lent. Soup is served at 6PM in the lower level Parish Hall at Corpus Christi Church, Ash Street (off Commonwealth Avenue) in Auburndale. Stations begin at 7PM in the upper church. St. Ignatius is responsible for the soup-making and the presentation of the Stations on February 29th; our sixth through tenth grade Faith Formation students will be the cooks, servers and prayer leaders.
