Thank you!
On behalf of everyone on the St Ignatius ARRUPE team, we wish to express our deep gratitude to our
fellow parishioners for the generous donations to our refugee assistance ministry.
Your kindness is making it possible for us to provide basic household goods to arriving refugee families
in the months to come. Thank you for responding so compassionately to those who have suffered so much
and who are working to build new lives in Massachusetts.

hymnals, please contact Michael Burgo at burgo@bc.edu or 617 552 6108. There are approximately 425 books and
we will be replacing them sometime in July.

OUTREACH MINISTRIES
Beginning June 30th/July 1st – you’ll find sign-up materials for our July 21st PINE
STREET INN SHATTUCK SHELTER SUMMER COOKOUT on the Outreach table. We’ll
need food donations, cash donations to purchase bulk items and “time” donations of kitchen

Saturday, July 7th: We’ll be serving dinner at COR UNUM MEAL
CENTER IN LAWRENCE and servers are needed! If you’d like to be part of
the serving crew, please contact Sr. Diane at 617-552-6107 for more information and specifics about
serving. Servers usually carpool, leaving here by 3:15PM and returning close to 8PM. Families are welcome to
serve, but children must be at least ten years of age.
To learn more about Cor Unum, go to
www.corunummealcenter.org.
AH… SUMMERTIME… VACATION TIME… but, hunger does not take a vacation!
Summer months make it difficult for local food pantries to keep up with the demand. So,
please don’t forget to donate to your local food pantry.
The bulletin will be on a two week schedule for the months of July and August.
The next new bulletin will be on July 8th.
