At the beginning of the day, I asked members of the Council to answer the question which we would hear in Sunday's Gospel, "Who do you say that I am?" I can't tell you how moved I was by the responses I received. I had thought that I would receive a list of the titles of Jesus or his personal characteristics. Instead, each person shared the significance of their relationship with Christ as friend, brother, healer, support and so much more. Some of you heard these reflections in my preaching last Sunday. I'd like to invite you to go to our website and read my homily for the 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time and see these reflections for yourself. They are quite an extraordinary witness to the faith of our community. Sincerely, Fr. Bob FALL PARISH RETREAT AT EASTERN POINT IN GLOUCESTER This semi-annual retreat is an opportunity to enter more deeply into the mystery of God’s love for us. Siempre responde a mi oración.
