An Act to Amend 201.1.10 in the Student Government Association Code-of-Laws
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION OF THE
UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH ALABAMA
Preamble:
WHEREAS, the University of South Alabama Student Government Association
seeks to modernize its operating structure by updating its Code of Laws.
WHEREAS, 201.1.10 is no longer valid with the passage of Bill Number 008
Section 1: Section 201.1.10 shall be amended to read:
“To have the power to fill, by appointment, all vacant seats occurring in the committee
structure, with the exception of the committee chairs. He or she may dismiss committee chairs
and co-chairs from their positions with a two-thirds approval of the Senate. He or she shall serve
as an ex-officio member of all such committees.”
Section 2: This act shall take effect April 21, 2015
