An Act to Amend 303.7 in the Student Government Association Code-of-Laws

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION OF THE
UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH ALABAMA

Preamble:
WHEREAS, the University of South Alabama Student Government Association
seeks to modernize its operating structure by updating its Code of Laws.

WHEREAS, 303.7 is no longer valid with the past and current unwritten
requirements.

WHEREAS, the wording of 303.7 is confusing and needs clarification.

Section 1: Section 303.7 shall be amended to read:
“Senators shall be required to complete twenty office hours semesterly in the Student
Government Association Office unless otherwise stipulated by the President Pro-Tem.”
Section 2: This act shall take effect March 24, 2015
